Princess Omolara Folorunsho: Building a Better Society

There is no doubt that men  and women of ideas rule the world.

Indeed, stories of great men and women who have impacted or changed the course of mankind are centered on great ideas.

And that is Princess Omolara Folorunsho, Founder of Folorunsho Adisa Welfare Initiative Iseyin

Omolara a native of ISEYIN and one of successful children to  to the family of late prince AsirudeenAdisa Folorunsho

She attended St ‘Paul Anglican Primary School  II (Idi-iroko) between 1976 and 1982 and proceeded to Ekunle High School  between 1982 to 1987.

She had her first degree in marketing from the University of Lagos in 1991 and masters degree in 1993.

She relocated to United Kingdom in 2000 and barged Higher National Diploma  from Manchester College (MANCATS) in 2004 and a certified course in customer services and leadership management at the college (MANCATS) between 2014-2015.

She’s happily married with blessed children(s).

She’s the sole Founder  of Folornsho Adisa Welfare Initiative Iseyin, which houses over 300 students yearly, a platform targeted at sponsoring free skill acquisition programs on vocations so that youths can be economically independent, this platform also employed the service of medical experts to give free health care services to aged and the widows….

Welcome to Folorunsho Adisa Welfare Initiative (FAWI) training and supporting creative mind is a platform created and funded by Princess Omolara Folorunsho a london based philanthropist and humanitarian woman.

This foundation is a Non Governmental Organization and it was established in April 25th year 2019 that is committed to Poverty eradication in the society.

The Organization is located at Ajisibi Lodge beside Aseyin of Iseyin palace ode oba, Iseyin oyo state Nigera.

The foundation is established with the vision of ensuring economic and social emancipation of the peoples through the following Units. Tailoring – This unit is established to train youths on the production of fashionable attires for both male, female, young and adults

Catering unit is set up to empower people’s, especially ladies on catering and event decoration and rental services.

Hairdressing- The unit trains our youths on different hair styles for the female while

Barbing Unit provide hair barbing, shaving and treatment for the males and female hair

Cosmetology known as (Makeup) department provide training for those who are interested in becoming make up artists and Makeup  service providers.this unit also teach  pedicure and manicure and other services of beautifications.

ICT/computer Unit is a modern way of helping the youths since everything in the world today revolve around Technology and computer literacy.

Business entreprinureship department is a unit that teach people how to make different types of soap, such like:- liquid soap,bath soap, body cream,hair cream, balm,tie and dye, campala,adire, insecticide, iza, air freshener, dettol and lots more.

Apart from these services, the NGO also providing free medical outreach for her beneficiaries every Friday and other Entrepreneurial skills to the people of Iseyin, Oke-Ogun and the nation at large.

The center also provide day care for those apprentices who are nursing babies in other to ensuring them concentrate with their learning.
