Tinubu Polls 1271 Votes To Win APC Presidential Ticket

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has won the 2022 presidential primary of the party.

Having polled 1271 votes, Tinubu beats his closest rival former minister of Transportation, Rt (Hon) Rotimi Amaechi who polled 316 and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who polled 235.

Also, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawal polled 152 while governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello polled 47.

About 2,322 delegates from across the country had stormed the Eagles Square to elect the flag bearer of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
