His name is Sir Olu Okeowo, a real estate entrepreneur. He is the owner of Gilbralta group, a construction company. He has numerous estates in expensive areas like Parkview, Ikoyi and Banana Island. He is said to be worth 300 million dollars, approximately almost 100 billion naira. His father is – Sir PaTaiwo Okeowo, who was also a billionaire. He was born in 1965 in Nigeria, and is married to Adejoke Okeowo.
Olu Okeowo graduated from Lagos Business School where he got a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He is also a governing member of it’s alumni association. He studied Management Science Technology and obtained a Masters degree at the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. He was a lecturer in the department of Business Administration at the University of Lagos.
He has 6 Rolls Royces, 2 Bentleys, 2 Gwagons. He also has a Range Rover and a Cardillac Escalade. His cars are said to be worth over a whooping 2 billion naira.
His mansion is worth about 12 million dollars, and it’s located in Park View estate, Ikoyi. Rumours say he calls it “Palacio De Okeowo”. The house has its own cinema, basketball court, massive dinning room and faces the sea with it’s own jetty.
In 2018, Nigeria customs stormed his mansion and seized a lot of his exotic cars. They claimed he didn’t pay import duties on the cars.
Sir Olu Okeowo run multiple scholarship programs. He is said to be a singer and this passion is why he gave scholarship to the choir of First Baptist Church. He is said to have given the largest donation to Luth.
