Breaking! Ekiti State Obtains Order to Serve Fayemi by Substituted Means

A fresh angle to the ongoing case that may scuttle the ambition of a former governor of Ekiti State has just emerged with an order obtained at Ekiti State High Court. The state government has obtained an exparte order to serve the erstwhile disgraced State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi order summoning him to appear to face criminal charges of corruption.
In the exparte motion filed on 13th April, 2018 the state sought to serve Fayemi by either posting the summons on his palatial home which was constructed during his tenure with proceeds of corruption at his IYIN hometown or via newspaper. While the court rejected the option of newspaper publication, it approved the first prayers to serve by substituted means by posting same on his home.
This development, further jeopardizes the claims of the aspirant that his running battle with the law is spurious or politically motivated, as the judiciary is now set to take on the overlord who has boasted of using federal power to sweep his corruption cases away.
Prior attempts to speak with the Minister has proven abortive, even as the President is said to be embarrassed by his posture especially the water tight  cases of embezzlement which were established against him at the Panel constituted by the Ekiti State government.
