I Was Shocked Seeing Orji Uzor Kalu Wearing Bathroom Slippers In Prison – Business Associate
It is said that the evil men do live with them. The former governor of Abia State, Senator representing Abia North, and Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is really having a hard time in prison.
A business associate who recently visited him in prison expressed shock at the miserable condition the former Abia State governor is.
According to him, I saw him wearing bathroom slippers, and looking pitiable.
Kalu was reportedly to have said to his visitor, “see me eating in prison.”
His business associate who was moved to pity consoled him to see it as a trying time of his life.
Reports have it that the former governor has been moved from Lagos to Kuje Prisons in Abuja for reasons yet to be known.
Justice Mohammed Idris recently sentenced Orji Uzor Kalu to 12 years imprisonment for money laundering to the tune of 7.65 billion naira.
A crime he committed while he served as governor of Abia State between 1999 to 2007.
