“To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides”, said David Viscott, late American author and media personality, in one of his literary voyages into the realm of love. His enduring words perfectly describe the mood of the billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, who is still basking in the euphoria of the golden jubilee celebration of his lovely and beautiful wife, Nana Otedola.
Last Sunday was a memorable day for the couple as Otedola gave his wife a special treat with a private dinner at their palatial London mansion to mark the day.
It was a small event but an eventful ceremony which paraded strictly their children and few close associates in attendance. Not only that they all had a taste of the chili mouth-watering menu, but drinks also flowed freely.
Indeed Otedola displayed a good sense of hospitality at the birthday soiree of his wife. Before the dinner, the 57-year-old billionaire cum philanthropist had earlier taken to his Instagram page to share a picture of his wife and penned lovely birthday message to express love and affection to his wife of many years.
Interestingly, one of the major sources of the joy of Femi is Nana, his beloved wife, and eternal soul mate.
For a man with the world at his feet, literally, earthily things shouldn’t necessarily excite him.
But for the 50th birthday celebration for Nana, her husband would have shut down London and the Lagos social establishment with a breathtaking glamorous party if not the social distancing rule caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The initial high octane birthday plan is not to show his enormous wealth but because Femi cherishes the mother of his kids and the one who adds plenty sheen to his glorious being.
Nana remains on the list of top celebrity women who wow and cow many fashion starlets and wannabes.
She made her first social appearance after many years out of the limelight at the unveiling of former beauty queen’s celebrity fitness and nutrition DVD held at Medici in Lagos.
In all these, Nana has not allowed glitz and glamour erode the sublime that goes with intellectual accomplishment, as she is doing pretty well with her dry -cleaning business, Garment Care. Her
marriage to Femi is blessed with four children, three daughters, Christine Olawunmi, Florence Ifeoluwa and Elizabeth Temi and a son, Fewa.
